Now that we've had one heat adversery after another, and our vaction turned out to be the hottest day on record for that area, then sunburns from hell... We've redescovered the simple joys of family movie going, or movie/video night.

Last year we redescovered the the joy of the drive in theater.. ahh for a cheap rate, you can fall asleep in a chair outside, get eaten by bugs, enjoy a huge pretzle and popcorn and watch 2 great new movies. well hopefully new movies.

Previous years, family fun includes, camping, going to the beach, walking around the zoo, playing putt putt, going out to eat, hiking in hocking hills, enjoying an outdoor play. But this year it's been far too hot and meriserble for all that... so movies it is.

I think this kick really started with two things, first off cus I bought the bought the movie pass at BlockBusters, along with the game passes, so 2 movies all the time. heck , I can trade them in the same day if I want to. :O and while on vacation, pay-per-view. In harrisburg they showed movies not on video yet ! :O So we got to watch ms congeatilty2, the pacifer, and Irobot way back in June.

Here in this tiny town, we still get first run movies pretty quick too an its not that expensive. It's just hard bring my kids and their friends :) there's always extra kids here.

Last night's movie was xXx State of the Union, Gosh, it was Great!
